For Criminal Cases:

Interpreters: You must notify Ms. Tene’ Davis at tadavis1@dekalbcountyga.gov as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours prior to the calendar.
Waiver of Arraignment: All Waivers must be filed five (5) days prior to the calendar and a courtesy copy must be sent to tadavis1@dekalbcountyga.gov
Motions: Courtesy copies of all substantive motions that need to be scheduled MUST be emailed to tadavis1@dekalbcountyga.gov, not sent via the e-file system.
Calendars: Counsel and Defendants are required to appear in-person. Failure to appear, unless permission not to appear is expressly granted by the Court, may result in sanctions, including forfeiture of bond or a finding of contempt. Cases will be called for trial in the order determined by the Court. The Calendar shall continue to the next jury trial weeks. Cases will remain on two (2) hour call until reached. All questions regarding the trial calendar should be directed to Ms. Tene’ Davis at 404-371-2665 or tadavis1@dekalbcountyga.gov

If your defendant is in custody in another jurisdiction, please notify Ms. Tene’ Davis ASAP.

For Civil Cases:

Interpreters: You must notify Ms. Olga Roson at oroson@dekalbcountyga.gov as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours prior to the calendar.
Motions: Courtesy copies of all substantive motions that need to be scheduled MUST be emailed to oroson@dekalbcountyga.gov not sent via the e-file system.
Contempts (post-judgment): You MUST obtain a Notice of Hearing/Rule Nisi from Ms. Roson prior to serving the petition; the petition and the Notice of Hearing must be personally served together.
